Sanjeeda Sheikh is an Indian television and bollywood actress, Best known as her winning portrayal of Ayesha, a negative character in 'Kayamath'. Sanjeeda, a fair and bubbly girl came to Mumbai to help her friend open a dance school. After a couple of days in the city, she decided to stay in Mumbai and used to teach fusion dance at Rahejas and at The Leelas. Stardom came her way when she went for a party with her friend. Ekta Kapoor saw her dancing and called her to the Balaji office. Sanjeeda gave a screen test and like they say the rest is history. She received her call telling her that she is going to play Nimmo in Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka. She spent her childhood and schooling days in Ahmedabad (Gujarat). The turning point of Sanjeeda’s career was Nach Baliye in the year 2007. Sanjeeda, the innocent looking girl, along with her real life husband won Nach Baliye 3. Voted as the best couple by audiences all over the world, Aamir and Sanjeeda danced their way to victory. Aamir and Sanjeeda hosted 8 episodes of Nach Baliye 4. Sanjeeda and Aamir won the "Best Couple of Indian Television" Lion Gold Award in 2008. She was also nominated as the ‘Best Newcomer (Female)’ in all the leading Television Awards for 'Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka'. Her obsessive lover act as Ayesha bagged her the nomination in the category of ‘Best Actress in Negative Role’ in several award functions for two consecutive years.
