Nooyi was born in Chennai in 1955. She underwent her undergraduate studies in Madras Christian College. After the completion, she walked into the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Calcutta to accomplish her management dreams pursuing an MBA course. Passing out of the MBA course, she worked as a brand manager with Johnson & Johnson in Mumbai. Interestingly, she still sears sari as her official robe. She completed her Master's Degree in Public and Private Management from the Yale University in 1980. Then, she started to work with several companies, which include Boston Consulting Group, Motorola, Asea Brown Boveri Inc, Finally, in 1994 Nooyi accepted an offer from PepsiCo and immaterially grew up to be its chief strategist. Driven by her extraordinary talents in regards of deal making, Nooyi occasionally reached to various high positions in PepsiCo until she became the chairman in 2004 and CEO in 2007.
