Aishwarya Rai, 37, has been married to Abhishek Bachchan, 35, for more than 4 years now and the rumours of pregnancy surfaced last year too. They are expecting their first child together who will also be heir of Bachchan clan. During her visit to Cannes this year the rumours of her pregnancy became strong, beside after many denials from the family.

Salman Khan, who had a shaky affair with the actress from 1999 during ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ but ended very soon with a bad note. It was reported that actor used to physically and verbally abuse Aishwarya. He even slapped her on the sets of a film.

“I congratulate Aishwarya and Abhishek. I would like to congratulate Mr. Bachchan that he is going to become a grandfather. I’ve become a chacha. I wish they have 7 kids. I hope they make a whole football team. I am happy for the Dadaji (Amitabh Bachchan),” He said this at event where he went to promote his upcoming movie Chillar Party.

The news of pregnancy also made way for bookies. They are betting on whether the baby will be a boy or a girl. The accurate delivery time and the gender of the baby is making people so excited, that they have even started betting on the same. The rate is 70 paise for baby girl and 80 paise for baby boy.
