Still hard to beat "I'll be back." And he is back. Arnold Schwarzenegger is making his Post-Political return in the Cine world. The Terminator said yes for the new Hollywood flick ‘The Last Stand’. Korean Director Jee-woon Kim who also made ‘The Good’, ‘The Bad’ and ‘The weird’ has Arnold with him in his this new venture.
Earlier this year Arnold announced his come back with Brad Furman’s Thriller Cry Macho. But the paternity scandal took over the Come-back news. Arnold seems to be getting out of the scandal strangle.
Story line of ‘The Last Stand’ has a background of small-town in the west. The 63-year old broken guy with a moral decision who’s also the sheriff of the town stands against a Mexican drug mafia. The director describes this movie as a kind of combination of Die Hard and High Noon… This is a story of a protector who risks his life to guard something very special.
It would be interesting to find out whether audience will come to watch Arnold as a small town sheriff. Though people have accepted him in some of the weirdest roles an actor could do. The audience’s backlash arose out of the highly public scandal is the cause for concern at this point of time. Eagerness is all around to find out whether this fim can bring the glorious days of Arnold back.
