Reviews

This Ajay Devgn starrer is yet another addition to the masala flicks which are making big. Directed by Rohit Shetty, this movie is on the same lines as Wanted and Dabangg.

The main character of the film called Bajirao is played by Ajay Devgn, who is a kind of superhero with immense power who can easily fight off 50 villians at a time. This is a good attempt by Rohit Shetty who has already made it, in Comedy flicks with his Golmaal series.

Singham is a remake of the Tamil hit Singham staring the southern superstar Suriya. There has been rumours going around that this movie is a copy of Salman starrer, Dabangg, then let me make it clear that the only similarity here is that both the hero's are police officer and are fighting the villains but with different agendas.

The performances by all the lead actors is good. But, it is Ajay devgn who has given brilliant performance with the attitude of a lion. Another actor who has made his presence felt is the Prakash Raj, who has given a intriguing performance as a villian. There is not much scope for the southern actress Kajal Aggarwal, but in small role also she delivers good performance. Action scenes are completely adrenaline rushing!

Verdict

In short it is a wholesome entertainer keeping you on the edge of your seat through out. Dialouges rae superb and dramatic. Film stands on the three most powerful pillars- Director Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn and Prakash Raj. This masala flick is sure going to be a blockbuster hit!
