Bollywood scriptwriter-director Amole Gupte who debuted as an actor in Vishal Bharadwaj's 'Kaminey', playing a Maharashtrian mafia man, will next be seen as a gangster in a movie titled 'With Love to Obama'. Here, Gupte is playing the role of a kidnapping business kingpin in Uttar Pradesh, in this flick, written and directed by Subhash Kapoor. According to Amole, the film is a first of its kind comedy and a satire on recession where he plays a politician-cum-gang lord whose business is unaffected by recession. The story revolves around how the recession gifted by America has taken a toll on the underworld by not only affecting top corporate houses in metro cities but also gangsters in UP. Apart from Gupte who is said to be the surprise package in the film, the movie also stars Rajat Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Manu Rishi Chadha and Sanjay Mishra. The film is being produced by Ashok Pandey of Revel Films. Hindi classes for Chatur The '3 Idiots' fame Chatur, Omi Vaidya has been taking classes in Hindi diction so that he can play characters born and bred in India. He claims that while his strange diction was an asset to bag 3 Idiots, at the same time it is a liability when it comes to getting other roles. He wishes to try a variety of genres and do roles out of his comfort zone so there are fewer chances of being repetitive. Meanwhile, Omi has bagged a television commercial with Shruti Seth and has also agreed to host a couple of dance shows.
