Kapil Sibal, the Union Human Resource Development Minister announced that he is planning to scarp 10th class board examination, which will be a relief to 10th class students. Sibal said that the examination-based system is a type of mental and physical pain for both, parents and their children.
He also added that there should be some alternative method other than exams. He suggested that there is no need of board exams because the student continued to remain in the same school even after Class 10 board exams. He also said that just after consultations with schools and state education boards, the HRD ministery will take any decision.
