Cases of swine flu in Delhi surge to 22

Now, Delhi is no more away from swine flu. Swine flu  has also find a new shelter in Delhi. The statics are taking a menacing shades. A new case of H1N1 influenza was confirmed in the capital, the number of cases has increased till 22 cases. The cases in Delhi now have beaten Hyderabad also.

A new case which has taken place is of 15 -years- old boy, who has come from New York to Delhi and recently, he is been admitted in Ram Manohar Hospital.  Out of 22  cases of swine flu , treatment of 13 cases have been moved in some of the government hospital. There are eight patients in  RML, three in  Airport Health Organization Hospital and two in Deen Dayal Upadhayay Hospital," said by Dr Anjan Prakash, additional nodal officer for H1N1 influenza, Delhi government.                           

The sharp rise in the number of confirmed H1N1 influenza cases in the city, is worrying everybody. According to Delhi health minister Kiran Walia, ''Delhi is a place where lots of people come from abroad'', this is one of the major reason why swine flu cases are taking place very frequently. Another reason for the sudden increase in the number of cases is the aggressive contact tracing of people who have tested positive for H1N1 influenza.     

The health department is also taking initiative by public awareness campaign and its training in more-and-more government hospital doctors to pick up H1N1 influenza in its initial stages. Walia said ,that We are taking all the measures to contain the spread of this infection.
