Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton Engaged to Marc Mezvinsky

Though it is not a White House wedding, but former first daughter Chelsea Clinton is going to be  married. Chelsea Clinton the only child of former President Bill Clinton and current Secretary of state Hillary Clinton is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky.
She and Mezvinsky became friends in Washington, D.C., and became closer friends when they both attended Stanford University. Marc Mezvinsky is son of former Rep. Ed Mezvinsky and former Rep. Marjorie Margolies Mezvinsky. The couple announced their engagement in an email on Friday Morning, Nov. 27 and revealed that they are engaged. The couple wished every one happy thanksgiving and wrote “We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn't get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holidays! Chelsea & Marc."
Clinton spokesperson Matt McKenna said he believed the engagement happened "before Thanksgiving." Other sources close to Clinton also indicated the engagement happened earlier and was only made public on Friday.
Rumors were high this past summer that the two were getting married in a grand celebrity-laden cermony on Martha's Vineyard, but those turned out to be false.
Clinton and Mezvinsky were childhood friends in Washington and were together at Stanford University but started dating from 2005. The future groom works with 3G Capital Management while bride is attending graduate school at Columbia University's School of Public Health
