Haryana CM Randeep Hooda has hinted at that former DGP SOS Rathore's Police medals following the alarming revelations made in the infamous Ruchika molestation case. He has recommended to the Home Ministry even before the meeting of the award committee to hold a discussion over the matter was held. The committee will be lead by Union Home Secretary G K Pillai , will decide on the withdrawal of Rathore's of the police medal awarded to him in 1985 for hs meritorious service. He has written to the Union home Minister and mentioned' moral turpitode' on Rathore's part in this case. He was very forthright in saying that the ex-DGP has brought a bad name to the entire police force and therefore his medals should be withdrawn. Also the decision is yet to be taken on the automatic withdrawal of the medals conferred upon him. If the committee decides to do so, then the recommendation will be sent to the President asking him to take immediate action against him.
