Shah Rukh Khan has been criticized by Saamna, the Marathi newspaper from Shiv Sena, for hosting a party at his Bandra residence on the day serial blasts in Mumbai. On Sunday in front page Saamna there was a report that SRK hosted a party to celebrate the release of Zindagi Milegi naa Dobara. The party was attented by some famous Bollywood personalities such as Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and others till the wee hours of Thursday morning. "His true face which is that of a villain has come out before the world," the paper commented. Saamna also stated that "Nearly 19 innocent people died in the multiple blasts in Mumbai while hundreds of Mumbaikars were injured. Many of them are still battling for life and the city is in a state of shock. Despite this, Khan threw a party on Wednesday night and proved that he has nothing to do with Mumbai's grief," It was also pinted out by the newspaper that many Mumbaikars cancelled their anniversary and birthday bashes in the wake of the adversity that struck Mumbai. The newspaper also said "However, Khan did not show the decency and the humanity to cancel his party,". In the meantime Sena CEO Uddhav Thackeray has declared that he will not celebrate his birthday on July 27 in view of the blasts. In a announcement on Sunday, Uddhav advised the Shiv Sainiks not to celebrate his birthday or put up hoardings in the city to greet him on his birthday.
